As of August 16, 2009, Fred and Suzi Dow have completed research on 155 national forests, 9 national grasslands, 1 national tallgrass prairie and 2,387 campgrounds. Research of campgrounds with 10 or more designated sites in all national forests in the U.S.A. is completed. Research continues on the national grasslands. The authors are NOT employed by the Forest Service.
