Tuck back away from the trail is this wall with its unusually portal. Maybe it was part of the Mayhew Lodge's main building or perhaps a fanciful wall used for some other purpose. Whatever its function once was, it provided a nice frame for a picture of Ralf and I at the end of a great hike.
