Good for How Long?

Time to put of old motorhome away for the winter and that means everything must be moved out.  Or does it?  Why can’t I leave some of the kitchen stuff in there?  It will be good for how long? Well, it turns out a lot of my pantry stuff can stay in the motorhome.

Like so many questions, I found the answer on the internet.  Shelf-Life Periodic Table  was a great find.  What a great thing to have on hand for home or RV. Here are some items you’ll find in my pantry.

Peanut Butter, natural = Unopened (U) or Opened (O): 9 months
Peanut Butter, processed = U: 2 years/ O: 6 months but refrigerate after 3 months
Brown Sugar, Honey = U/O: indefinite
Worcestershire sauce = U: 5 to 10 years/O: 2 years
Coffee, instant = U: up to 2 years/O: up to 1 month
Coffee, ground = U: 2 years/O: 1 month refrigerated
Mustard = U/O: 2 years
Olive oil = U/O: 2 years from manufacture date
Marshmallow = U: 40 weeks/O: 3 months
Ketchup = U: 1 year/O: 4 to 6 months
Mayonnaise = U: indefinitely/O: 2 to 3 months from “Purchase by” date
Juice, Bottled = U: 8 months from production date/O: 3 months
Dried pasta = U/O: 12 months
Windex = U/O: 2 years
Bleach = U/O: 3 to 6 months
Liquid dish detergent =U/O: 1 year
Liquid laundry detergent = U: 9 months to 1 year/O: 6 months
Powdered laundry detergent = U: 9 months to 1 year/O: At least 6 months
Motor oil = O: 2 to 5 years/U: 3 months
Batteries = alkaline: 7 years, lithium: 10 years
Body Lotion = U/O: 3 years
Lip balm = U: 5 years/O: 1 to 5 years
Mascara = U: 2 years/O:3 to 4 months
Bar soap = U/O: 18 months to 3 years
