Creating Something Wondrous from Burl

One thing a traveler should always pack is a sense of curiosity. How could you not be curious about yard full of tree houses, chunks of wood, and interesting sculptures? Satisfying our curiosity led to this discovery we made during our 2005 season while researching the Siskiyou National Forest in the little community of Kerby, Oregon. The place is called "It's a Burl" and Harvey Shinerock is the owner/operator/master artisan.
