Remember, we are Forest Service campground users. That means we are used to having fairly basic amenities and just a few neighbors. The Canadian Rocky Mountain national parks' campground amazed us -- flush toilets, showers, electric and water hook-ups, dump stations, and row after row of camp sites! To us, Banff's Tunnel Trailer campground was huge even by Canadian standards. We were in site # 754 and there were two more rows above us!!!! Our side of the campground enjoyed lots of shade from the towering evergreens while the other side had breathtaking views of Tunnel Mountain and MT Rundle.
