{"id":7225,"date":"2018-05-25T04:27:18","date_gmt":"2018-05-25T11:27:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.forestcamping.com\/dow\/suzi\/?p=7225"},"modified":"2019-01-21T06:38:00","modified_gmt":"2019-01-21T13:38:00","slug":"janes-oyster-crackers-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.forestcamping.com\/dow\/suzi\/janes-oyster-crackers-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Jane&#8217;s Oyster Crackers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Fred&#8217;s mother, Jane, had a shoebox full of good recipes but her Oyster Crackers recipe is one of my most favorite.\u00a0 Warning: they are habit forming.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve been known to &#8220;dress-up&#8221; these little nuggets of yum by adding raisins and\/or mini-chocolate chips which makes the perfect for any hike and day shopping.\u00a0 Here I used a broiler pan.\u00a0 If you line your pan with aluminum foil there is little clean-up .<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_7209\" style=\"width: 4298px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.forestcamping.com\/dow\/suzi\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/DSC_0026-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-7209\" class=\"wp-image-7209 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.forestcamping.com\/dow\/suzi\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/DSC_0026-1.jpg\" alt=\"recipe begins\" width=\"4288\" height=\"2848\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-7209\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">oil mixture at the ready<\/p><\/div>\n<h2><strong>Jane\u2019s Oyster Crackers<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>1 pkg Hidden Valley Ranch dressing<br \/>\n\u00bd tsp dill weed<br \/>\n4 cup oyster crackers<br \/>\n1\/4 tsp garlic powder (optional)<br \/>\n3\/4 cup salad oil<\/p>\n<p>Mix all ingredients together. Spread out on a jelly roll cake pan or cookie sheet with rim and place in 250 oven, 15 to 20 minutes. Stir halfway through.
