For many of us. a camping trip is as close to a vacation to Disneyland as we can get.\u00a0 I mean, for many of us, unless we are staying at a relative house, the price of a motel room and eating out is not something we can manage comfortable.<\/p>\n

Now a vacation should be, by definition, a relaxing affair.\u00a0 Whether you like to camp in a tent or recreation vehicle of some type, with or without others, here are some tips to make your next camping trip a pleasantly relaxing time.<\/p>\n

Pick a destination close to home<\/h2>\n

Ddriving mile after mile to get to your destination isn’t all that relaxing.\u00a0 Dodging high speed semi-trucks, dealing with road construction, to say nothing of the bored and grumpy guys in the backside is nothing close to relaxing.\u00a0 Alternative to these and other frustrations, is a destination close to home.\u00a0 With 176 national forests and grasslands, and even more state and county parks nearby, why not?<\/p>\n

Leave electronic “toys” at home including your tunes<\/h2>\n

Turn cell phones off<\/h2>\n

Have NO “must do” plans<\/h2>\n
