I'm planning a backpacking/camping trip to Ouachita NF. It'll be the first one and I can't get up there before mid-November.
Would appreciate any advice from people who've been there about how hard it is to avoid hunters there that time of the year.

Wow, that is an interesting question. I would guess that you would do the same as hunters and wear orange clothing along with staying on actual trails. Enjoy and be safe...
