Howdy,

Coop here, hope your tent camping whatever. Listen I'm from the baby boomers generation, remember them. Middle aged and like music, really just about every kind. You know, classic rock, country, Carpenters, ZZ Top, Grand Funk Railroad, Doors, Beatles, Johnny Cash some jazz too and of course early new age, got the picture. Heres what we bought after spending a small fortune letting our children wreck our stuff camping and then wreck the stuff we bought for them.

If you need music that you can take with you on any tough and tumble adventure, look no further, the Sony ZS-H10CP. Hey its, tough, and is perfect for the job-site, workshop, or backyard, with a rugged and durable design that incorporates a water and dust resistant seal that protects it from the elements.

In addition to a big handle( it's a roll bar) that makes it easy carry to any project. It also has large control knobs for easy operation, even when wearing thick gloves. A high-impact plastic housing is designed for outdoor fun, with rubber gaskets, bushings and waterproof seals that help keep out water. Yes we've taken it on "Sky" our kayak. Plus, the footprint fits most shelves.

The sound is good stereo at base camp or where ever you want. Through Amazon its $130 clams. But well worth it! Some would say: "That's not camping." But I don't care, it's progressive camping. Sure I go off to photograph wildlife, fly fish, and even hunt with bow. But when the day is done relaxation is the key and enjoying the dinner, the campfire and each other. Enough said. Yes it takes 8 D size batteries but I also have an answer for that in my next topic.

hey; i have just started camping; treat me like a noob;
:?

i am reading a lot; but this time my question is:
What kind of real entertainment a camper really needs during camping??? i mean the entertainment that really help camper feel better???
i mean one my friend brought tons of entertainment stuff with herself but on his return all remain untouched
:|

I am particularly talking about stuff that needs to be there to overcome anxiety and factor of isolation...

How about a good book, hiking boots, fishing gear, camera, binoculars. Look for national forest/grassland campgrounds that have trails, wildlife and bird viewing and vistas. Let us know the state(s) you intend to travel in and we'll try to help.

Katy, If you are concerned about isolation anxiety, I'm assuming you plan backpacking and wilderness camping. If so, you might want to look at a small short-wave radio. They are small and light enough to pack, but you will be able to get some reception even though it may be from some distant State or even Country.
