Many of us have moved to smartphones over the last couple of years. There are a lot of cool apps that are available for both the iPhones and the various Android phones. Which ones do you use to make RV'ing a little easier? Are any of he apps you use good for locating National Foests and Campgrounds?

All this time gone by and still no replys?
AllStays Camp & RV is a pretty complete list. In addition to commercial cgs, it includes n.f., n.p., state park, etc. cgs. It also lists rest areas, Wallmarts, Casinos and other areas where you can overnight. I have found the descriptions and directions to be accurate. It accesses Google Maps fo directions.
A good test of this kind of App is to search for some really obscure n.f. cg. I try Little Sunlight cg. It 4 sites about 10 miles down a dirt road off of Chief Joseph Hwy., N.E. of Cody, WY.
For hiking, I use Gaia GPS. If I don't expect to have cell phone service at the trailhead, I preload the (free) topo maps that I will need.
If I am staying in one cg for a long time, I will sometimes set up a satellite dish. For aiming it, I use iSat Finder.

Thanks for tip about Allstays. Already downloaded Camp & RV and RV Dumps to my Droid. I'm not sure I have the confidence in them that you do but we'll give them an honest shot.

Allstays seems to be the best and all around APP for finding campgrounds. The "filter" gives MANY choices of CG types. I would like to see them put GPS coordinates up front instead of in the "UPDATE" section. (Feedback to Alstays)
