I'm trying to find a list of the NFS equestrian/horse camps with CG hosts. I've checked their list with a few results (I'm sure there are more). Can anyone help?[/img]

It's hard enough trying to find equestrian campgrounds let alone those with a host. I can tell you with relative certainty there is no such list on a national level.
If what you are trying to do is find a position for yourself, I suggest two things. First, decide which national forests you might want to host in. Call the supervisor's office and ask about any equestrian campgrounds that might have available host positions. Second, click on the "Host Positions" tab to the left on this page and browse through the displayed positions. Those of interest, click on the campground link and see if the campground description talks about whether horses are permitted.
Finding host positions is one thing, but finding those where horses are permitted is quite another. I'm sure there are some out there and with some serious digging on your part, there is one for you. Perhaps someone on the forum knows of some possibilities . . . Fred

Although horses are not allowed in the campground Transfer Park has an equestrian area with trailerparking hitch and mounting rails and horse trails. It also has a camp host, but I dont believe there are hook ups. If you need more info let me know the assist.mgr is parked next to me.
