Around milepost 5 1/2, sites in Molino Basin campground are tucked in among the evergreen oak and boulders. Contrary to most Forest Service campgrounds, Molino Basin is open only during the winter months. Not a particularly RV-friendly campground, campsites are well-suited to tent campers.
