The view from the first set of switchbacks -- saphire blue Lake Louise, its magnificent Hotel, looking tiny from this high up, a ski resort with its many runs wiggling through the dark forest, and several rock slides. Although this is a nice picture, it doesn't convey just how breath-takingly beautiful this place is. You can only fully appreciate it in person.
