Path of Glacier Trail at Mt Edith Cavell

There are so many fantastically beautiful places to visit in the Canadian Rocky Mountain national parks one wouldn't know were to begin without some guidance. For us, most of the guidance was provided by the folks at various information centers located in the towns and communities. Okay, there is a lot of print information available on the web and in books, pamphlets, and such but to narrow the list down to a more manageable length, we had to talk with the people who had seen the sight, smelled the smells, and hiked the trail. Path of Glacier trail at the base of Mount Edith Cavell was not something we had placed high on our to-do list until the information center person remarked on how much she enjoyed it. She was correct --it was an experience we will long remember. These pictures capture just a little of what we found so special.
