There were two areas where campers clustered. This one is near the Race Point Lighthouse where the land reaches furthermost into the Atlantic Ocean. The other was below the Province Lands Visitor Center and closer to Pilgrim Heights. Our visit to Cape Cod National Seashore was during the Labor Day holiday so camping on a non-holiday might be less crowded but we don't know for sure. We had to marvel at the number of recreational vehicles and how far down in the sand those vehicles appeared to be. Even more amazing to us was none of these rigs were still there, stuck in the soft sand, after the holiday.
