Red Canyon campground in the Dixie National Forest has to be a personal notable campground. The wind, rain, snow, and ice has carved such fanciful shapes in the sandstone that there is always something interesting to look at. Up to this point, Ralf hadn't be able to hike with us but he did some during our stay here. As we said, Ralf wasn't at all sure he liked hiking at this point but by the end of the season he was a pro.
