The Education Center at Big Mountain Resort

What do you do with a towering ski mountain just outside Whitefish, Montana in the summer? How about criss-crossing it with various hiking trails and open the Summit House to visitors to the Flathead National Forest? Isn't that a great idea? It is even better when visitors can wander around the various exhibits and learn about the Forest's flora and fauna. Manned by friendly and knowledgeable volunteers, the Center is a delightful daytrip for the whole family. It is amazing what one can learn while having a good time.
