Welcome to the Camping With Suzi Web Site

My name is Suzanne (Suzi) Dow. I am a former Army brat who spent a good bit of my youth traveling across the United States. Apparently, those early years of endless miles in the back of the family station wagon were not enough travel for me. During the summer of 1976, I took my two children on a three-month tent camping trip, traveling from East coast to West coast and back. This time produced some great memories and a firm love of camping. Just before starting work on the U.S. National Forest Campground Guide project with my husband, Fred, I earned a Master's degree from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. When not on the road we reside in Bisbee, AZ. There, we are working on the latest edition of our books, getting re-acquainted with my little house in the Mule Mountains, and enjoy just being in one place for awhile.

Fred and I go through a lot to keep both the U.S. National Forest Campground Guide and Camping with Suzi websites accurate and up-to-date. If you feel we've gotten something wrong, left something out, or made an error, let us know. Thanks.
